Jeremy Quimby Joins Huntsville SOF Network Board, Replacing Lawrence Taylor-Duncan

Huntsville, AL - The Huntsville SOF Network (HSN) is pleased to announce the appointment of E. Jeremy Quimby, a highly accomplished retired Infantry Officer, to its prestigious board. Quimby brings over two decades of exceptional service in conventional and special operations assignments, positioning him as an invaluable addition to HSN's mission of fostering collaboration and innovation within the special operations community.

Quimby's extensive background in military planning and combat experience makes him an exceptional choice for the HSN board. During his illustrious career, he served in critical roles such as lead sensitive activities planner at the US Special Operations Command Headquarters and senior operations planner at the NATO Special Operations Headquarters in Belgium. These positions allowed him to shape and execute sensitive operations on a global scale, demonstrating his strategic acumen and ability to navigate complex operational environments.

With multiple combat tours under his belt, including deployments with the Special Operations Joint Task Force-Afghanistan, Quimby proved his mettle as a leader in high-stakes situations. His exceptional service and dedication to the mission earned him widespread respect among his peers.

Quimby's final assignment brought him to Redstone Arsenal, where he retired from active duty this past January. As he transitions into his new role on the HSN board, Quimby looks forward to utilizing his experience and knowledge to contribute to Huntsville's impressive Academic, Military, Government, Non-profit, and Industrial Enterprise and advance the objectives of the special operations community.

Educationally, Quimby holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point, underscoring his strong foundation in leadership and strategic thinking. Additionally, he earned a Masters of Science from the esteemed National Intelligence University, further enhancing his expertise in intelligence and operational planning.

Beyond his military achievements, Quimby currently works as a systems engineer with Banner Defense at the Missile Defense Agency. His professional experience in this role allows him to bridge the gap between the military and civilian technology sectors, bringing valuable insights to the HSN board's discussions on emerging defense technologies and innovation.

Jeremy Quimby resides in Madison, AL, with his wife, Vanessa. His decision to join the HSN board reflects his dedication to serving the Huntsville community and supporting initiatives that advance the special operations field. Quimby's strong leadership and diverse experiences make him a natural fit for the board and position him to make a significant impact on HSN's strategic direction.

Quimby's appointment to the board comes as he replaces Lawrence Taylor-Duncan, the former Membership Board Member.
